Silproto

Silproto

Mine Bitcoin in your browser. Earn silver RWAs — metal weighed in troy ounces and struck at 999 fineness, not points that only exist on our ledger.

The idea

Bitcoin got called digital gold. Silver is the other half of the pair.

Gold is the metal you lock away. Silver is the metal that gets used — in contacts, in solder, in mirrors and panels — which is why it has been money and material at the same time for three thousand years.

Silproto points proof-of-work at that metal. The work your machine does is real Bitcoin mining; what accrues on the other side is a claim on silver, denominated in troy ounces rather than in a score.

A real-world asset is the plain version of this: a digital token whose backing sits outside the chain. Ours is bullion at 999 fineness, weighed against the troy ounce of 31.1035 grams — the same unit a refiner stamps on a bar.

That is the whole design. No yield invented out of nothing, no emissions dressed up as returns. Work in, metal out.

$SIL is the project’s own token and is not itself a claim on metal. The silver RWA units described below are separate instruments; don’t read one as the other.

Mining on Silproto

Four steps, no install

The miner runs in the browser tab. Nothing is downloaded, no account is created, and you can close it at any point in the session.

Step 01

Connect a wallet

Phantom connects in one click. Silproto reads the public address and nothing else — no seed phrase, no signature, no balance held on your behalf.

or
Step 02

Your device works

The tab performs genuine proof-of-work. Hashrate, accepted work and session time stay on screen, so you can see exactly what the machine is doing.

Step 03

Shares accepted

Each hash is checked against a share target. Only work that clears it counts, and output depends on your hardware and what your power costs.

Step 04

Silver accrues

Accepted work accumulates toward silver RWA units in the denominations below, claimable to the wallet you started with.

Silver RWA rewards

Four weights, one fineness

Rewards are paid in weight, not in a floating point balance. Units follow the troy ounce; the dimensions are the prototype’s and are not yet locked into tooling.

The miner

Run it in this tab

Real SHA-256d over an 80-byte block header, nonce by nonce. Connect Phantom first and your address is folded into the job’s merkle root, the way a coinbase commits to the address it pays.

No shares yet. Press start — the first one usually lands within a few seconds.

Local mode. The hashing is genuine double SHA-256 over a real header, but the job is generated in your browser, so no share is submitted anywhere. Enter a bridge address above to mine against a real pool instead. Either way, nothing is credited and mining starts only when you press start.

Leaderboard

Wallets that have put work in

Ranked by accepted shares, then by total hashes. A wallet appears here the first time it clears a share.

#WalletSharesHashes

Nobody yet. Start the miner and clear a share to take the top spot.

This board is stored in your own browser, so it lists only the wallets that have mined on this device. A shared board across everyone who opens the page needs a backend Silproto does not have yet — the column layout is here so it can drop straight in.

What can be verified

Check us, don’t trust us

Every claim on this page is either something you can confirm yourself or something we state plainly is not true yet. Here is the split.

Verified
The hashing is real SHA-256d. Open the page source and read it — the header layout, the padding and the little-endian target check follow Bitcoin’s own convention, and the implementation was tested against a reference SHA-256 before it shipped.
Verified
Hashrate, hash count and share count are measured in your browser from work your machine actually did. Stop the miner and the numbers stop.
Not true yet
Silproto is not connected to a mining pool. The job is generated locally, no share is submitted anywhere, and no Bitcoin has been earned or paid to any address.
Not true yet
No silver has been bought, deposited or vaulted. There is no custodian, no assay report and no audited holding behind this page.
Not true yet
$SIL does not exist on any chain. There is no mint address, no liquidity and nothing to buy. Anyone offering you one is not us.

Mining here before rewards exist does not entitle you to a payout. Any future reward programme depends on funding, eligibility and the legal work being finished first — and a silver-backed token sold in the EU needs authorisation before it can be offered at all. Neither mining nor holding $SIL is an investment, and neither promises a return.

Current status

The miner runs. The metal does not move yet.

Silver rewards for miners and $SIL holders are planned and not active. Nothing is being credited today, no claim is open, and no return is promised. This page describes the standard the prototype is built against — when claims switch on, it will say so here first.

No offer

Nothing on this page is an offer to sell, a solicitation to buy, or a recommendation regarding any token, security or commodity. No token is being offered. No Silproto token exists on any chain and no mint address has been published.

No advice

Nothing here is investment, financial, tax or legal advice. Silproto is not authorised by any financial regulator and does not present itself as one.

No entitlement

Running the miner creates no right to any payment, token or future distribution. Statements about what Silproto plans to do are plans, not commitments, and some plans do not happen.

Your device

The miner uses your own processor and electricity. It never starts on its own, never runs in the background, and stops the moment you press stop.
